The Quincy Saddle Club has been in existence for over thirty years.

The club is incorporated as a not-for-profit organization.

The goal of the Quincy Saddle Club is to encourage and promote care,

ownership, and enjoyment of the equine.

Are you interested in becoming a Quincy Saddle Club Member? 

   –    Annual Membership dues are $10 for single or $15 for family.
   –    Members receive a monthly newsletter with information on events and meetings.
   –   Monthly Trail rides are usually held the Saturday following the meeting. (Check the Events page for details.)

We try to keep activities going year round that will interest our members and help us all learn how to better care for and enjoy our equine friends. (Trail rides, lectures/clinics, cookouts and more!)

Saddle Club meetings are held on the second Tuesday of each month.

We meet at 7:00 pm at the Adams County Farm Bureau Building at
330 S. 36th St., Quincy, IL, lower level

Monthly Trail Ride

Location:   Siloam Spring State Park
      Date:   August 17, 2019
      Time:   afternoon

Starting at 8 am we will be having a “Work Day.”  Members will be working on getting the trails cleaned up for the “Ride Around the Park, ” which will be held on our Fall Trail ride on September 21.  In the afternoon, there will be a club ride.


Please bring weed eaters with blades, lopping sheers, gloves and chain saws.  Bruce Reinebach will be the lead on this “Work Day.”  Meet with him at the equestrian campground at 8 am to get details on where work is needed.

“THANK YOU” Cookout

Location:   Adams County Fairground
      Date:   August 18, 2019
      Time:   6 pm – 8 pm

The club members decided to have a “THANK YOU” Cookout for all the members and non-members that volunteered their time to help provide gate coverage during the fair.  Please contact Linda Link if you volunteered so that we can get a headcount for this cookout.  Meal will be Hamburgers, Hot Dogs, Potato Salad, Coleslaw, cookies, Lemonade, Tea, and water.  

Again THANK YOU to all the members and individuals that helped to achieve this yearly goal of the Quincy Saddle Club!!


Fall Trail Ride

The Fall Trail ride which will be held at Siloam Springs State Park will be September 20 – September 22.  More details to come on this event.

IDEAS:  Would there be anyone interested in doing a Scavenger Hunt?  Poker Run?  Looking for ideas to do as a club.  Submit ideas to email address quincysaddleclub@gmail.com.
