The Quincy Saddle Club has been in existence for over thirty years.

The club is incorporated as a not-for-profit organization.

The goal of the Quincy Saddle Club is to encourage and promote care,

ownership, and enjoyment of the equine.

Are you interested in becoming a Quincy Saddle Club Member? 

   –    Annual Membership dues are $10 for single or $15 for family.
   –    Members receive a monthly newsletter with information on events and meetings.
   –   Monthly Trail rides are usually held the Saturday following the meeting. (Check the Events page for details.)

We try to keep activities going year round that will interest our members and help us all learn how to better care for and enjoy our equine friends. (Trail rides, lectures/clinics, cookouts and more!)

If you would like more information on our club,  please email us, contact one of the current club members, or just join us at one of our monthly club meetings.  We are always accepting new members!!

Saddle Club meetings are held on the second Tuesday of each month.

We meet at 7:00 pm at the Adams County Farm Bureau Building at
330 S. 36th St., Quincy, IL, lower level

Quincy Saddle Club Annual Spring Tack Swap/Sale

Location:  Ursa Town Hall
         Date:  March 17, 2019
        Time:  Noon – 4 pm
Sales starts at noon.
Doors will be open at 10 am for vendor set-up.
Horse tack and related items only please.

Vet Day

Location:  Adams County Fairgrounds

We will be having our annual vet day with Dr. Chad Lehenbauer from Palmyra Veterinary Clinic

Listed  below is the 2019 Vaccination and price list from Palmyra Veterinary clinic.  Please print one of these off and complete for your horse(s).  These forms will be available for pickup at the February meeting.

We are asking if you are interested in participating in this event that you complete this form so that we can assure that Dr. Chad brings the correct supplies for this event.  If you are not able to attend a meeting but are interested in participating, you can contact the Palmyra Veterinary Clinic directly at (573) 769-0441.


This is the time of year where Quincy Saddle Club does not have a monthly trail ride due to most of our local trails are closed.  Check back in March 2019 as we will have posted again the rides for the year.

Fall Trail Ride

The Fall Trail ride which will be held at Siloam Springs State Park will be September 20 – September 22.  More details to come on this event.
